During a mission in the Middle East in 1997, probationary secret agent Lee Unwin sacrifices himself to protect his superior, Harry Hart, from an explosion. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone said of the film, "This slam-blindside activity movie almost British secret agents is deliriously shaken, not stirred ...
